How to find your Windows key using Command Prompt

Sometime you may want find out your window product key, but you don’t know the exact way to do it. in this tutorial I will guide you through simple steps to find your windows key easily and quickly using command prompt.

Follow the steps given below to display or view your window product key.

1. Open Command Prompt with Administrator privileges‘ either by

Typing “Command Prompt” or “cmd” In the Window search bar, Right-click on “Command Prompt” listed in the search results, and then From the context menu that appears select “run as administrator” .

Or

From Keyboard press Win Key + R , run dialog box will opens up, type “cmd” and then from keyboard press SHIFT+CTRL +ENTER

(If prompted, click Yes to grant permission.)

The Command Prompt window will opens up in administrative mode bellow.

2. In the “Command Prompt”,  type or past “wmic path softwarelicensingservice get OA3xOriginalProductKey” command and then press Enter key from your keyboard. This will display your Windows product key as shown bellow.
