Important Shortcut Keys for Web Browsers

Following are some of the important browser shortcuts that can make browsing easier. These shortcuts work in all major web browsers like Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, Opera, and Safari.   1. Create Browser new Window: CTRL+N
  2. Create browser new window in Incognito/private mode: CTRL+SHIFT+N

  5. Scrolling down in the page : SPACEBAR/PAGE DOWN KEY

  12. Close the whole browser window : ALT+F4
  13. Book Mark the Current tab: CTRL+D
  14. Book mark all open tabs :CTRL+SHIFT+D
  15. Referesh the the current page: F5 or FN+F5
  16. Select the address bar on the current page: ALT+D/F6
  17. Zoom in and zoom out: CTRL+MOUSEWHEEL
  18. Web search : CTRL+K/CTRL+ES
  19. Open the searched item in new window: ALT +ENTER
  20. Open the searched term in the current window : CTRL+ENTER
  21. Open the clear/delete browser history dialog box/setting: CTRL+SHIFT+DELETE
  22. Reset to default(100%) zoom: CTRL+0;
  23. Naviagte to a specific numer (in rang 1 to 8) tab  :CTRL+NUMER(1-8)
  24. Toggle fullscreen mode: F11
  25. Developer tools: F12/CTRL+SHIFT+I
  26. Open browser history: CTRL+H/CTRL+SHIFT+T
  27. Open browser download history: CTRL+J
  28. Text search in the current page: CTRL+F/F3
  29. Next text search result: CTRL+G
  30. Prevous text search result:CTRL+SHIFT+G/SHIFT+F3
  31. open page source: CTRL+U
  32. Save the current page: CTRL+S
  33. Print the current page: CTRL+P
